Day 1 : Airport pickup / Kandy

Arrival, welcome by a representative of our Sri Lanka Travel partner and transfer to Kandy – “The Hill Capital”

Kandy is the last capital of Sri Lanka. It is in this delightful city that the “Dalada Maligawa” lies well-guarded since the attack on its building by terrorists. Kandy is an exciting place for shopping and a well-known centre for elaborate brass, bronze and silver ware. It is a City for arts and crafts as well as culture and history. The name Kandy conjures vision of splendour of magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive.

You will be guided an evening tour to watch a Cultural Performance by traditional Kandyan Dancers and Drummers including devotional “Fire Walking" and walk across in the star lit night to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha - by far the most important place of worship for Buddhists world over.

You will enjoy costumes of the Kandyan dancers which are quite elegant. They dance to the rhythms of drums which are called “Bera”

Day 2 : Nuwara Eliya

Have a variety of spicy and flavoured dishes for breakfast.

Leave for Nuwara Eliya through the Ramboda Pass surrounded by "Green Carpets - Most relaxed travellers on this route miss this falls as it is located below the bridge.

Away from the sun and the sand, you must explore the hill country with its blue green mountains, sprawling tea gardens and waterfalls.

Nuwara Eliya is known as “Little England” and is home to some of the finest tea plantations in the world. There are hills covered with Tea and cascading Water Falls amidst breathtakingly beautiful landscapes. Nuwara Eliya - nestled in a wooded basin at the foot of Mount Pidurutalagala Sri Lanka’s highest peak, this region at 6,183ft above sea-level Has a cool, crisp climate unknown elsewhere in Sri Lanka. A serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of Colombo, the town seems like a piece of the English Lake District. Unusual plants, birds and animals thrive here besides natural feature like waterfalls and caves.

Tea, the glistening green leaves of this lovely shrub, along with neat rows of green, cloak ridges and valleys providing a lasting impression of Sri Lanka’s Hill Country. The golf course – one of the most finest and picturesque in Asia – the serene Anglican Church of the Holy Trinity, beautiful parks and well-kept lawns and hedges give the place an air of nostalgia.

En route visit a Tea Factory and a Plantation to witness the manufacturing process of world famous “Ceylon Tea" and to taste a pure unblended cup of factory fresh tea before being sent to the Tea Auctions in Colombo leading to Export.

You will be taken for an evening free for walk /tour around the city including following site seeing.

Enjoy seeing colourful and attractive flowers including large variety of plants in Victoria Park in the precincts of the town. You will love for bird watching while relaxing in a calm and loving heavenly environment.

Experience the beauty of Gregory Lake surrounded by mountains and beautiful romantic garden views.

You will be able to enjoy the trip by visiting Golf Course and Market. The Golf Course which is reputed to be one of Asia’s finest is 5’520 m. You could view the fairways are long, narrow and bordered by trees and thick bushes.

Day 3 : Bentota

  • Leave for Bentota on the south west coast via Hatton
  • Enjoy the natural beauty of this mountainous route passing the Devon waterfall.
  • Stop in close proximity to the location of David Lean’s award winning film “Bridge on the River Kwaii.”
  • Yet another celebrated beach of Sri Lanka, Bentota beach with the river, lagoon, palm groves and resort complex is one of the most-visited tourist destinations in the Island. Lush greenery of the landscape around is really breath-taking.

Day 4 : Bentota

  • Have refreshing and energizing food for breakfast.
  • Rest of the day is at your leisure.
  • Relax on the Beach
  • Discover the romance with the glittering sand and sun, Fantastic weather, warm water and incredible sea food dishes.
  • Overnight stay at Bentota

Day 5 : Airport Drop

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Transfer to the airport for departure
